2011 BBQ on the Bow in Calgary

It's cold and rainy today in Calgary and feels like summer is over. However, there are still a few more fun summer events to be held in the city which Calgarians can enjoy before the arrival of fall and winter. For instance, I am looking forward to 2011 BBQ on the Bow in Calgary which is a free, fun and family event held on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. It is scheduled to be held this year on Sept 3rd and 4th at Eau Claire Festival Market in the city plaza between the Sheraton Hotel, YMCA, Eau Claire Market and bridge to Princes Island Park.

The pre-festival events and competitions will be held on Saturday, Sept 3rd and families can enjoy Main stage entertainment, Alberta Championship, Children's craft tent, BBQ on the bow kitchen and BBQ food pit and concession on Sunday, Sept 4th.
