2011 Calgary International Blues Festival

Next week in Calgary is going to be exciting for Blues fans because 2011 Calgary International Blues Festival kicks off on August 1st at Shaw Millenium Park and will run until August 7th. The big names who will be at the festival this year include John Mayall, Ray Manzarek (the cofounder of the Doors), Robben Ford and Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.

From blues icons to the up and coming stars of tomorrow, Calgary International Blues Festival Mainstage and Twilight Blues Series will feature the best in blues. While the kids 12 and under are free, Adults can purchase day passes for the following:
Thursday (August 4th, 2011) $25 + GST
Fri, Sat & Sun (August 5th-7th) $50 + GST per day
