Calgary Parking - Most Expensive in Canada

If you drive to work in Calgary and complain about high parking prices then your complaints are absolutely justified because Calgary's Parking is the most expensive in Canada and among top 15 in the world according to a recent survey (London,UK being no.1 at US$933/monthly) .

Colliers’ 10th annual North America Parking Rate Survey again indicates that parking garage owners and operators have managed to hold rates steady.

The monthly median parking rate in Canada now averages $224.10 CAD and I know friends who pay upto $500/month to park in downtown Calgary. In central business districts across Canada the median rate for daily parking averages $14.83 CAD.

Check out the most expensive cities in Canada in terms of parking represented by median rate: Calgary ($453.00 CAD), Toronto ($336.00), Montreal ($280.00), Edmonton ($275.00) and Vancouver ($267.00) per month.
